I think I first met Sharleen through work over a year ago, and we ended up talking about maternity photos when she found out I also did photography a couple months ago and well we have had a pretty steady conversation going ever sense! Getting to know her better I honestly am soo glad I had the privilege of doing these photos for her, such a sweet genuine woman. Couldn't be happier for Sharleen & James on their new little bundle arriving early October
We started off heading out to a gorgeous acreage just outside of Crossfield, AB for the first location where we had some fun in sunflowers & corn fields. after a bit we headed off to meet Sharleen's man, James at his Families horse farm for some couple shots which they totally rocked together!
I'll let the photos speak for themselves but She makes one beautiful mama to be :)

Went out this evening to view a gorgeous location for a shoot coming up and got to meet the sweetest family who gave us a tour around their lovely property with a massive garden and all sorts of other hidden gems. As we were walking around the cutest kittens came wandering out for what appeared to be a sibling wrestling match of sorts haha
I couldn't help but take some photographs of them, so here you go... a free of charge cuteness overload that will definitely make your day much better
Last weekend I had the privilege of heading out to Grassi Lakes in Canmore, AB with my beautiful friend Tanya, to check out all the teal lakes of course! ( Soo gorgeous } if you haven't been it's definitely worth a trip to see, it offers different levels of hiking trails for all levels of adventurers and you really can't go wrong with the views!
Here's a link with more information on Grassi Lakes with directions :)
So Caitlin is actually my cousin and we had been planning a couples session for a few months and unbeknown to us, the whole time Logan had actually been planning a super sweet proposal for Caitlin and was waiting for the perfect time to ask the big question! ( which of course she said YES ) fast forward a few weeks and we were in Kelowna, BC meeting up with Logan + Caitlin for their engagement photos in a gorgeous apple orchard right by their place, followed by a sunset walk after dinner down by the water + docks. I personally had only had the opportunity to meet Logan once before this and WOW seeing these two together and the connection they share between each other is unreal, as I am sure you will see in their photos below. Congratulations you guys!
Recently had the privilege of checking out Chamber's Farm and have to say it is by far one of the best family friendly places we have checked out so far! there is so many different farm animals including Yaks + Emu's to check out as well as lots of cute little babies!
if you are ever in the Fort St John / Baldonnel British Columbia area be sure to go check them out. They even offer sleigh and wagon rides, popcorn, drinks and other assorted snacks, you can feed the animals + the best part is it is family operated and owned so if you visit you are supporting a pretty amazing local family.
Check them out on Facebook at Chambers Horse Drawn Sleigh and Carriage Rides
